【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군은 군청 대회의실에서 축제추진위원, 품바축제 기획실무위원, 군민 등 100여 명이 참석한 가운데 ‘제26회 음성품바축제’ 유공자 표창패 수여식과 평가보고회를 가졌다고 11일 밝혔다.

품바축제 적극 참여지원 유공에는 △음성읍 이장협의회 이승용 △금왕읍 이장협의회 윤세영 △소이면 이장협의회 정성화 △원남면 주민자치회 유금숙 △맹동면 주민자치회 송영학 △대소면 주민자치회 조한성 △삼성면 이장협의회 신동선 △생극면 체육회 백차현 △감곡면 새마을지도자부녀회 최영자 씨가 수상했다.

이어진 평가보고회에서는 축제 평가용역 결과를 보고하고 축제 운영에 따른 문제점과 개선방안이 논의됐으며, 참석자들의 의견을 수렴하는 시간을  가졌다.

제26회 음성품바축제는 32만8190명이 방문한 것으로 집계됐으며, 품바축제 경제효과는 약 221억 원으로 분석됐다.

프로그램 만족도 조사 결과에서는 △전국길놀이퍼레이드 및 2판4판 난장판 △전국품바왕선발대회 △품바공연 △음성N품바경연대회 △전국청소년댄스퍼포먼스대회PUMBA △품바촌 체험(분장, 의상, 가락배우기) 등이 좋은 평가를 받았다.

방문객 만족도가 높은 항목으로는 △재방문 및 타인 추천 △안전하게 관리된 축제 행사장 시설 △친환경 축제를 위한 쓰레기 감소 노력 △축제를 통한 음성군의 지역문화를 알게 된 부분 등이며 △편의시설 및 휴게시설 △먹거리 및 살거리 △축제 접근성 및 주차장에 대한 항목은 만족도가 낮은 것으로 나타났다.

한편 이날 품바축제 관련 7개 단체에서 470만원의 기부금을 기탁했다. 

조병옥 군수는 “음성품바축제가 안전하고 성공적으로 개최될 수 있었던 것은 각 분야에서 열정적으로 행사에 참여해 주신 수상자분들 덕분”이라며 “평가보고회를 통해 제안된 부족한 부분과 문제점은 보완·개선해 지역 문화관광축제를 넘어 글로벌 축제로 성장할 수 있도록 군민과 함께 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

Governor Cho Byeong-ok stated, "The safe and successful hosting of the Eumseong Pumba Festival is thanks to the passionate participation of the award recipients in various fields." He added, "We will work with the residents of the county to address and improve the shortcomings and issues identified during the evaluation report, so that the festival can grow beyond a local cultural tourism festival into a global one."
